Kamloops Senior Men’s Baseball League president Tyler Carpentier is glad the wait is over.
The league was awarded the right to host the 2020 Baseball BC AA Men’s Provincial Championship, but the tournament was cancelled that year and again in 2021 due to pandemic-related restrictions.
“We’ve been waiting some time for this tournament to arrive and are so excited for it to finally be here,” Carpentier said in a press release.
The tournament will run from Sept. 2 to Sept. 5 on Labour Day Weekend and feature 10 club teams from across the Interior, Okanagan and Lower Mainland, with strict rules in place in relation to pick-up players.
