The Business Platinum Card® from American Express is a charge card with a $499 annual fee and a welcome bonus of 90,000 Membership rewards points. Both cards cater to business owners but differ depending on the needs and spending habits of the cardholder. For instance, the Business Platinum card’s generous welcome bonus is available much sooner by spending $10,000 within the first three months. In contrast, the Aeroplan Business Reserve requires 16 months to access the full 95,000 Aeroplan points (and intricate spending structure).
